I liked the medium pair of jeans I made a while ago so much, I decided to try it again in medium and see if I could tinker a little bit with the waist size. The medium was a little large.
In my stash was some heavy denim for this pair of jeans. Armed with the denim and my White 793 I started to sew.
I like to French seam the pockets for a finished look. I serged the leg seams.
I used my Singer 6268 for the fleur-de-lis design on the rear pockets.
The waist is still a little large, but I think after a few washings it might shrink.
I had fun making these.
Thanks for stopping.
They look like they fit perfectly! I love the embroidery too.
ReplyDeleteI agree, looks like a real good fit. Nice looking jeans.
ReplyDeleteYour jeans look great. I do like the pockets.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Yeah, the fit is excellent and nice job with the embroidery.
ReplyDeleteI've watched your videos on the 6268 and I don't seem to be able to get mine to work with the embroidery hoop the way you do. I actually bought 2 machines and 2 hoops and I can't get any combination to work. When I press the ENT key with the hoop attached it gives a dull beep and won't do anything. I am sure that it is user error but I haven't been able to figure it out. Do you have any advice for me?
ReplyDeleteDoes the SewIng machine do anything when you press the foot pedal?
DeleteIt does everything it's supposed to except when the hoop is attached. When the hoop is attached and a cartridge installed It will move the needle just slightly, as if to position the needle. When I enter a desired pattern the machine will beep as to acknowledge my selection, but when I press ENT it gives a dull sound as if to indicate an error.
ReplyDeleteWhat cartridge are you using?
