$1.99 Wool Shirt

 I now have a wool shirt I just made.  The wool fabric was $1.99 at the thrift store.  So even though I had my labor, it is an inexpensive shirt just in time for those cool days.

I used Simplicity 7330 in large with two inches added to the sleeve length.  I added tower plackets to the sleeves.

I used my Bernina 530 Record.  This is a great machine, and I like the knee control.

I know wool isn't supposed to be washed, but that is what I did.  It softened it quite a bit.

It was three yards, I had just enough.

I did the button holes with my Berlin's 1001.  It has a six step button hole which makes a very nice one.
