Madras Summer Shirts

 I saw some beautiful Madras fabric on Etsy and ordered it.  It exceeded my expectations.

I decided to make two short sleeve shirts with McCalls 4079 in medium.

I also decided to use my Necchi Supernova to sew them.  This is an extremely smooth and strong machine.  I bought it at the thrift store for $2.50 about three years ago.

I used my White 769 to sew on the buttons.  I have had this machine for several years, but it needed a foot pedal.  I finally purchased one.  It is a wonderful machine.
