A few days of sleeves, buttons, and the collar. It is finished now. I like the style of collar on this shirt. It is a little more rigid than the previous shirt I made (MCCall's 2049), and has the right amount of opening at the top. I did not have to adjust the buttons at all.
It could be because it is my second shirt I made with a collar, or maybe the collar and plackets were a different style than the previous shirt, but this shirt seemed easier to make, and more dressy.
Now it is time to think about my next project. I am thinking about pajamas, since I have patterns and some material.
The McCalls 6231 looks like it has some nice styles. But, the McCalls 5511 has a collar on the top, not just the V-neck. That looks interesting. I guess I'll have to pull out the directions and see which one I will choose.

The 5511 has a pajama pattern for my dog. He would look really cute. Maybe he doesn't need pajamas, he has a lot of tight curly hair. I have had Max for almost a year, he came from the pound. He likes to take walks, watch me sew, and make dinner.

Decisions, decisions...Max and I will have to discuss it. Of course, my partner Joe will get some input also.
